Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

This notice is for California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This page describes those rights and explains how to exercise them.

  • Push notification tokens (mobile app)
E. Sensory Data (Mobile App)
  • Accelerometer data during ride recording (used for road quality and crash detection)
  • Device motion sensors for navigation orientation
F. Inferences
  • Cycling skill level
  • Regional preferences
  • Language preferences
  • Preferred cycling routes and times (derived from ride history)

Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you when you create an account or use our services
  • Social login providers (Google, Apple, Microsoft) if you choose social sign-in
  • Automatically through cookies and similar technologies
  • Device sensors when using the mobile app (GPS, accelerometer, with your consent)
  • Ride data synchronized from the mobile app (with your consent)

Your CCPA Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale

You have the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. However, some data sharing with analytics providers may constitute a "sale" under CCPA.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will not receive different pricing or quality of services.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Your Opt-Out Choices

Party Onbici does not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, under the broad CCPA definition of "sale," sharing data with certain analytics partners may qualify. You can opt out below.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise your CCPA rights in the following ways:

Verification Process

When you submit a request, we will verify your identity by:

  • Confirming ownership of your registered email address
  • Matching information you provide with our records
  • For deletion requests: additional confirmation step via email

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide written authorization and verify their identity. We may require you to directly verify your identity with us.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for the following periods:

  • Account data: Until you delete your account
  • Ride history: Anonymized after account deletion for analytics
  • Synchronized ride data (mobile app): 90 days, or until you request deletion
  • Device identifiers (mobile app): Until app data deleted or 1 year of inactivity
  • Push notification tokens: Until you disable notifications or uninstall the app
  • Log data: 90 days
  • Backup data: 30 days after deletion
