How to delete your Party Onbici account, and what happens to your data

This page applies to the Party Onbici app on Android, iOS and Wear OS, and to partyonbici.com. You need an account only to sync rides and to join or organise group rides; if you never created one, there is no account to delete.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Party Onbici and go to Settings.
  2. Tap your name or photo at the top of Settings to open your profile.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.

Delete your account on the website

Sign in at partyonbici.com, open your account settings and choose Delete Account.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@partyonbici.com from the address on your account. We will confirm the request with you before acting on it, and reply within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email address, profile photo, age or year of birth, and gender.
  • Your sign-in methods, passkeys, two-factor settings and active sessions.
  • Your saved routes and your membership of group rides.
  • Push notification tokens for your devices.
  • Group rides you organised are removed from listings.
  • The free-text address on any community consultation pin you added is cleared; the pin stays without your name so the issue you raised can still be reviewed.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Synced rides. When you delete your account, rides you synced are separated from it: we remove the ride name, the start and end addresses and the device name, and keep the track, without your account, for cycling infrastructure statistics. Ride points are deleted 10 years after they were recorded. If you want your synced rides erased rather than kept in this form, email dpo@partyonbici.com before you delete your account: once it is deleted we can no longer tell which rides were yours.
  • Incident reports. Road incident reports you made stay on the map without your name.
  • Crash and error reports are kept by our crash reporting provider for up to 90 days.
  • Server logs (IP addresses and requests) are kept for up to 365 days for security.
  • Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
  • Records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records for purchases made on the website, are kept for 7 years.

Data on your phone

Deleting your account does not remove rides stored on your phone. To remove them, use Settings > Privacy Center > Delete All Data in the app, or uninstall it. Workouts you chose to save to Apple Health or Health Connect stay there until you delete them in that app.
